ALEX, M.DIV
Fathers Initiative Director
Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Languages from Penn State and a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell. He serves as our Fathers Initiative Director and is also a pastor here in Bozeman. Alex, his wife, and their four children have called this community home for the past eight years, and they love being deeply involved in church life, local businesses, schools, music, activities, and sports. Alex has a heart for walking alongside men, helping them see how deeply valuable they are, how much their presence matters in pregnancy decisions, and the powerful role they play in shaping their children’s lives and futures.
BECCA, BSN, RN
Education Coordinator
Becca was born and raised in the Gallatin Valley and earned her nursing degree in 2012. She has worked in many areas from the NICU to hospice but has found her calling in teaching others to help themselves through education and self empowerment. Dedicated to spreading knowledge in the community, Becca joined the ZoeCare staff in 2024 as the Education Coordinator, which takes her out in the community leading people in understanding how the human body works.
CHAR, MSW, LCSW
Mom2Mom Director
Char earned her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Illinois. She worked in family preservation, working with moms considering making an adoption plan, and supervised a foster care program. After a 17-year career in Illinois, she stepped away to raise her daughter and moved with her family to Bozeman in 2008. When she’s not overseeing ZoeCare’s Mom2Mom program and all its intricacies, Char enjoys fitness, hunting, and marksmanship, among other activities that take her outside.
CHRIS, MA
Executive Director
Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Montana State University and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. Chris came to Bozeman in 1989 to study dinosaurs, learn graphic design, and spend time in the mountains — all of which he has done to great satisfaction — but quickly realized his passion was mentoring other men and strengthening families. This passion led him to be hired at ZoeCare in 2015 as the Fathers Initiative Director, where he created what would become ZoeCare’s beingDAD program. In 2017, he was hired to take the helm of ZoeCare as its new Executive Director. He’s been trying to steer this ship ever since..
DEANNE
Office Manager
Deanne’s background is in public health nursing. She was recruited to work the ZoeCare front desk in 2013 and became ZoeCare’s Office Manager in 2017. Her responsibilities include patient scheduling, managing the electronic health records, and keeping statistical information.
EMILY, RMA
Medical Assistant
Emily grew up in the Gallatin Valley with the aspiration to help everyone with their health, even on their worst day. After starting her professional career with a local EMT Basic course, she discovered she would rather aid with prevention than emergency support. In 2022 she earned a Registered Medical Assistant certificate from Montana State University- Gallatin College and subsequently worked in the primary care and family medicine fields. Emily has served as ZoeCare’s Medical Assistant and through 45North empowering young men and women since 2024. She is currently studying Pre-Med at Montana State University.
GABOR, MD
Medical Director
Gabor graduated from Rutgers College with a degree in biochemistry before attending Medical School at Rutgers Medical School (now called Robert Wood Johnson Medical School). He received his MD in 1983. Gabor did his post-graduate work in Family Medicine at Hunterdon Medical Center in New Jersey, where he also served as Chief Resident. Prior to joining the Bozeman Clinic in 1989, he worked in a variety of practice settings, including private practice in New Jersey and Indian Health Service at Crow Agency, Montana. At Crow Agency he was the Medical Director at Lodge Grass Clinic and head of the Diabetes Program. He has been involved with Rocky Mountain Ministries on a nearly annual basis in providing missionary work and health care in rural villages to both Honduras and Mexico since 2000. Gabor provides a full spectrum of medical care to his patients at the Bozeman Clinic and provided obstetrical care up until 2019. He has been involved with ZoeCare in various capacities since 1990 and has been its Medical Director overseeing the breadth of ZoeCare’s medical services since 2007.
KACEE, BS
Development Director
KaCee is the Development Director for ZoeCare. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. She is responsible for donor relations, fundraising, and events. KaCee is known for her hard work, positive attitude, and excels in problem-solving and managing projects. She is particularly proud of the work that she does through ZoeCare to help women and families in the Valley.
LISA, BSN, RN
Nurse Manager
From childhood, Lisa knew that she wanted to care for others who were in need. She was the one doting on the bedridden grandmother or taking care of the foster baby in the family. As an adult, she obtained her BSN and RN from Fresno State University and spent years as a trauma nurse TNCC, MICN in a level 1 trauma center which provided many opportunities to provide both medical services as well as emotional support to people and families who were in precarious situations. For the past 13 years she at ZoeCare, she has thoroughly enjoyed the privilege of providing a safe space for patients to discuss their concerns and to receive requested medical assistance. Since becoming FEMM certified in 2024, her hope has been that through education, patients become knowledgeable about how their bodies function, and become empowered to make informed decisions about their own health.
MARY, BA
Patient Care Associate
Mary was born and raised in Billings and graduated from MSU-Billings with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. After spending 18 years in Texas, she returned to Montana in 2018 with her husband and kids and has devoted her time to volunteering with Bozeman Schools, The Rock Youth Center, and ZoeCare. Currently, she is working as a Patient Care Associate, advocating for women’s needs with compassionate care.

Partner Advocate
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance and Accounting from the University of Montana. He and his wife Celia have been lifelong residents and called Bozeman home for the past 25 years. He serves ZoeCare as a Partner Advocate. Having raised two kids at a young age himself, he helps young men manage the financial and emotional struggles that can arise through planned or unplanned pregnancies.

Community Engagement Director

PAM, RN, CPA
Bookkeeper
Pam received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a certificate in accounting, then RN and CPA licenses in Maryland between 1985-1990. She later earned a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare at Wilmington University in Delaware in 2018. In addition to providing direct patient care for many years, she combined her skills and education to work in various finance roles for hospitals in Delaware. She has lived in Montana off and on since 2003 and joined ZoeCare in 2024 with a desire to use her vast experience to support ZoeCare’s mission in the Gallatin Valley.
SARAH, BSN, RN
Nurse
Sarah graduated with her RN in 1998. While completing her Bachelor’s, she moved to this beautiful state of Montana and graduated with her BSN in 2006 at Montana Tech. She loves being a nurse and has been serving at ZoeCare since 2019. Experiencing an unplanned pregnancy at 17 herself has given her compassion and understanding for those experiencing unplanned pregnancies and single parenting.
SHERI, BA
Patient Care Associate
Sheri, a mother of seven, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministries from Pensacola Christian College. She and her husband spent 16 years in Uganda as missionaries and moved to Bozeman in 2021. Through her time in Uganda she developed a passion for mentoring, marriage, and family. She has been trained as a professional life coach and has her own business coaching, specializing in marriage and family. She started working as a patient advocate at ZoeCare in 2022, and now offers free life coaching and parenting classes to ZoeCare patients.
TAYLOR, MD
Radiologist
Taylor grew up in east Texas and Shreveport, Louisiana. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Genetics at Texas A&M University and a Doctorate of Medicine from Texas Tech University. After an intern year at Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, he headed to Indiana University for his Radiology Residency followed by a Vascular / Interventional Radiology Fellowship. As ZoeCare’s Radiologist, he interprets obstetric ultrasound imagery.
VICTORIA
Marketing Coordinator
With a background in marketing, sales, and social media since, Victoria brings creativity, strategy, and heart to the ZoeCare team. She is passionate about empowering women and families and loves using marketing as a tool to inform and connect with the community ZoeCare serves.
WENDI
Patient Support Specialist
Wendi Ortiz has been married to her husband Kirk for almost 20 years. Together they share a beautifully blended family of eight children and seven grandchildren with more on the way. In 2017, Wendi and her family moved to Bozeman, where she began serving with ZoeCare as a Patient Advocate and Mom2Mom Mentor. Through this work, she recognized a deep need for compassionate after-abortion healing and partnered with ZoeCare to offer Forgiven and Set Free. Through her own journey, Wendi has truly found God’s purpose in her abortion and now walks alongside others, offering hope, healing, and restoration.
WENDY, MD
STI Clinic Director
Wendy grew up on a farm outside of Manhattan, Montana, and received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Liberty University. After graduation, she worked for a year at a lab in the Gastroenterology Department of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. She received her MD at the University of Washington and then completed her internal medicine residency with the University of Washington. She married and moved to Indianapolis where she worked for three years at the Roudebush VAMC as a general internist. At that point, Wendy and her family moved back to the Bozeman, Montana, area and has headed up ZoeCare’s STI Clinic since 2014.
